The Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung Southern Africa offers an internship, of two months or longer, to university graduates interested in expanding their knowledge of the political landscape and civil society in South and Southern Africa.

Requirements

• University degree
• Strong written and oral English language skills
• High level of computer literacy (MS Office)
• Commitment to RLF political and social ideals
• Experience working, studying or living abroad an advantage
• Applications from the SADC region encouraged

Description

Depending on the current activities at the time of your internship, you will work individually or closely with office colleagues or project partners.  You may also become involved in activities such as research, event planning, compiling  project or other documentation and general administration. Although the Rosa Luxemburg Stiftung offers a monthly stipend and accommodation, you will be liable for all personal, travel and living expenses.  Please ensure that you arrange adequate medical insurance to cover your stay in Africa before leaving your country of origin.
